What the service is

SynastryCalc provides free astrological tools — synastry and composite chart calculators, aspect and house guides, and generated chart readings — along with educational articles about reading birth charts. The site is provided as-is and is free of charge.

Entertainment and educational purposes

Astrology is a symbolic tradition, and everything on SynastryCalc is offered for entertainment and educational purposes only. Our calculators and interpretations:

• do not predict the future or the outcome of any relationship;
• do not constitute medical, psychological, legal, or financial advice;
• are not a substitute for professional counseling, therapy, or advice from a qualified professional.

Please make real-life decisions — about relationships or anything else — using your own judgment and appropriate professional guidance, not a chart.

Accuracy of calculations

We compute planetary positions from a professional-grade astronomical ephemeris and apply historical time zone and daylight-saving rules for the birth places you enter, and we work hard to keep everything correct. That said, the service is provided without warranty of any kind, and a reading is always an interpretation of a symbolic system, not a statement of fact about you or another person.

Your birth data

You keep all rights to the birth data you enter. You grant us only the limited permission needed to do what the site is for: calculate charts, store the result so it has a shareable link, and display it to anyone you share that link with. Saved results expire after 30 days. Details are in the privacy policy.

If you calculate a chart for another person, you accept responsibility for entering their data respectfully and lawfully, including sharing the resulting link only with appropriate consent.

Acceptable use

• Do not use the site to harass, defame, or harm others.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
• Do not scrape, republish, or resell the site's content, interpretations, or generated reports at scale without permission.
• Do not misrepresent the site's output as professional advice of any kind.

Intellectual property

The SynastryCalc name, design, written guides, and generated interpretation texts are the property of SynastryCalc and are protected by copyright. Astronomical calculations themselves belong to no one — you are welcome to use the charts you create and to discuss the astrological technique we publish. But republishing substantial parts of the site's text or offering its tools as your own service is not permitted.

Third-party services

The site relies on a third-party place-name lookup service to turn the places you type into map coordinates, and pages may link to external websites we do not control. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those services.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, SynastryCalc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or reliance on its content — including decisions made about relationships.

Changes to the service or these terms

We may modify or discontinue any part of the service, and we may update these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when this page is updated; the “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
